Hello! We’re Baldy and the Fidget — also known as Heidi and Angus (cue cheesy grin photo of us!). We’re an artsy couple from East London with a love for all things creative — and a special soft spot for cats. As a multiple award-winning card and print company, we pour our passion into creating cute and quirky illustrations designed to bring a little joy to everyday life. At Baldy and The Fidget, our commitment is to prioritise eco-friendliness, ethics, and sustainability in our prints and packaging. To minimize our carbon footprint, all our prints and cards are meticulously designed and produced in the UK.
Our wall art prints and cards are crafted using papers sourced from FSC-certified mills. The inks we employ for printing are non-toxic, and we ensure that all empty cartridges are returned to the manufacturers for re-use.
In terms of packaging, we opt for fully recyclable clear display bags manufactured in the UK, thereby supporting local producers. Our prints are carefully enveloped in tissue paper made from a combination of recycled content, guaranteeing 100% recyclability, biodegradability, and FSC approval.
To further enhance our sustainability efforts, we’ve chosen grey card instead of plastic stiffeners and kraft tape in place of plastic sticky tape. Our ongoing dedication involves continuous exploration of environmentally friendly practices to operate our business and provide prints and cards with a conscientious approach.
